Christmas Party Outfit | What I Wore

Last weekend we attended my husband's office Christmas party, so I decided to take some photos to show you the outfit that I wore for this occasion. I was quite unsure about what to wear, because I didn't want to be too over-dressed or under-dressed, but in the end I decided to go for a sparkly dress with a black blazer on top. I think it was actually quite appropriate for the event. I got this sequin dress from Reserved (probably my new favourite store at the moment!!). I really loved it when I saw it in store, but I didn't get it right away. I did go back to get it a few days later, because I couldn't stop thinking about it. You know you love a clothing item when you can't take your mind off of it - haha! I loved wearing this dress and I think it's perfect for a lot of events. I think I'll probably wear it on New Year's Eve as well. The black blazer is also from Reserved and I mainly got this because I thought it would be a good addition to my wardrobe, as it's easy to pair up with most outfits and make them look more put-together. I also wore a pair of simple black heels, which I got from a store called Poema. That's about it for this week's outfit!

Have a great week!

  2. Cute look! I've always enjoyed pairing a "loud" item like a sparkly dress with some more muted pieces like your blazer, tights, and pumps. Great holiday outfit and it looks like you and your hubs had fun!

  3. It's a gorgeous dress!! And I love how you added the blazer over it. It's kinda one of my pet peeves that so many of the holiday dresses don't have sleeves---because it's cold out!! But we've learned to manage, I guess!!
    Merry Christmas!
