Pink Wedding Guest Dress | What I Wore

Dress: New Yorker  |  Shoes: Stradivarius  |  Cuff bracelet: H&M  |  Necklace: H&M

Welcome back to my blog! If you've read my previous post, then you already had a little sneak peek of what my dress and accessories would be for this wedding outfit. I found this pale pink dress from New Yorker and I really liked the pattern on it (it kinda looks like lace detailing) and the way it's fitted on top and then flared on the bottom. I paired it with almost the same accessories as my previous wedding guest outfit, mainly because I felt that those would go really well with this dress. I love those sandals and I've been wearing them so much, they're actually quite comfortable, even though they don't look like it. I went for golden jewelry with this one, pairing it with my cuff bracelet from H&M and a golden bar type of necklace - also from H&M. That's about it for this outfit - hope you had a lovely weekend, I'm already looking forward to the next weekend - haha! :)

Getting Ready for a Wedding Weekend

As the weekend is pretty much here already, I was gathering a few things I need to pack for this weekend's wedding that we are going to attend. I mentioned it in my last What I Wore post and some of you said you wanted to see the outfit I will be wearing. Well, this is actually not the outfit post, but I thought it would be interesting to share with you a few details about the outfit that I'm preparing. You can see though a little sneak peek of the dress I will be wearing (it's the pale pink lace bit from the top right corner, in case you didn't notice it). I picked up a few things that I needed and thought would go well with the dress. Firstly, I got two Essence nail polishes, one in a pale nude colour and one which is supposed to give you a gel-like finish. I don't really get the "xxxl volume" thing in a nail polish - I mean, I've never once in my life thought: "oh, I would love to have really voluminous nails" - haha! :) Aside form the slightly weird name, I think it's a really cool nail polish and it definitely gives you a lovely finish. I also picked up the new Maybelline Sensational mascara, simply because I was running out of my other ones, so I thought I would give this one a go. I've only used it a couple of times, so I can't really give you a full review of it yet. And finally, I got the lovely set of earrings from H&M, which I think would go great with the dress. Actually, I didn't only get them for the wedding, because I love wearing stud earrings on an everyday basis, so I think I'll get a lot of use out of these. I am still quite unsure as to whether I should go for golden accessories or for pearl ones. I will be wearing a pair of nude sandals with the dress and I'm undecided about the clutch I should go for. So let me know in the comments below what you would pick: golden accessories or pearl ones?

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog! Have a lovely weekend!

Summer Monochrome | What I Wore

Top: New Yorker  |  Pants: Bershka  |  Bag: George at ASDA*

It is Wednesday again! I for one cannot wait for the weekend, because we have another wedding to attend, and I am really excited about that. I will (hopefully) be taking some outfit pictures with my wedding guest attire and will post it in next week's outfit post. Stay tuned if you're interested to see that!
As for now, we are having an unbearably hot week, and everyday I find myself looking forward  to when evening time comes around and the atmosphere cools down a little bit. I wore this outfit on a little walk in the evening and I really like the combination of the white jeans with the monochrome aztec top. I feel like white pants go with everything, literally. Whether you want to go for a colorful outfit or a simple, monochrome one, they are absolutely perfect either way. I already know that I'm going to get a lot of use out of these. I paired the outfit with a pair of black sandals with some sparkly bits on the straps, and I went with my beloved black tote bag that I wear every single day.

Outfits of the Week | What I Wore

Welcome back to another What I Wore Wednesday! Today's blogpost is a little bit different than the usual ones. I filmed over on my Youtube channel a video featuring my outfits from last week (5 of them, to be exact) and I figured I would share them with you as well. I took a few screenshots from the video and posted them below, but be sure to check out the entire clip in order to see all of them.

Let me know in the comments below which one was your favourite out of the five outfits. Don't forget to subscribe to my channel, to get notifications when I post new videos. Hope you enjoyed this!

Lace & Pom-poms | What I Wore

Top: New Look  |  Shorts: Sheinside*  |  Sunglasses: H&M  |  Bag: George at ASDA*  |  Sandals: Deichmann

It's been a busy-busy week for me so far and, to be honest, I've actually barely left the house. Partly because I work from home and didn't have any client-meetings or anything like that, and partly because it has been such hot weather here that it's a pain to go out anywhere. This outfit is a really good one for these days, because it's really flowy and comfortable to wear. I got out from my closet these shorts that I purchased last year from Sheinside. I really like the pom-poms on them and I think they're really cute for summertime. I paired them with a lace/crochet type of blouse, which I actually think goes really nicely with the shorts. For accessories, even though it's summer and that means you usually pick bright colours and such, I went for simple black ones - mainly because I think it makes for a more put-together look. I went for black wedge sandals, a black tote bag and my favourite sunnies at the moment.
Last week we went to see a bunch of apartments, because (in case you don't follow my youtube channel, then you probably didn't know this) we've been looking lately to buy a place of our own. We found what I would say is the dream-place for us and we're going back today to see it again and find out more details about it, so I'm really excited and hopefully everything goes well. I'll keep you posted on that, and you can be sure that when we do get a place, I will be posting lots of decorating ideas. Ok, that's it for my random rambling that has nothing to do with the outfit - haha! :)

Wedding Guest Outfit | What I Wore

This is a different type of What I Wore Wednesday, because I am featuring the outfit I wore as a wedding guest this past weekend. I don't think I've posted a more elegant outfit in quite a while, so that's a nice change. Unfortunately, I can't really tell you where I got most of the items I'm wearing, because I either got them as gifts or forgot where I got them from (I've had all of these for quite a while). I can tell you that the nude high-heeled sandals are from Stradivarius, I got them last year and they're my absolute favourite so far when it comes to elegant footwear. I wore a little black dress, it's got an interesting texture on it, it's strapless, and it has a cute bow at the waistline. I really like this simple dress and I've worn it on many occasions. I wore a pale pink type of clutch, which kind of matches my shoes, since they have a tint of pale-pink in them too. For accessories, I went with simple gold jewelry. I really love attending weddings, I always get really excited about them and I think one of the reasons for that lately is that it gives me inspiration for my own wedding, which will be next year. We actually have another wedding coming up in about a month or so, and I have to go and find myself a new dress for that (cause I can't wear the exact same one...again...haha!). I feel like getting something with a bit more colour, so I will be on the lookout for that.

Hope you enjoyed this post!
