Light Summer Colours | What I Wore

Top: New Look  |  Pants: Stradivarius  |  Bag: George at ASDA  |  Shoes: H&M  |  Cuff bracelet: H&M

For today's outfit, I picked a few light colours, going for a more pastel-type of outfit. I wore this the other day, just running some errands. I went for a pair of mint skinny jeans, which I really love wearing, and I feel like these are a good change from the regular jeans that we all wear. They give a different vibe to the entire outfit. I paired those with this white blouse that I have from New Look. My favourite part about it is the bottom, that crochet detail. I think it looks really lovely and boho-inspired. To add some more colour to the outfit, I wore my H&M floral ballet flats, which are some of my favourite pairs at the moment. Finally, for accessories, I picked my H&M cuff bracelet that I've been wearing a lot, and my small black purse, which goes with pretty much everything. I think, actually, that a beige bag would have been perfect for this look, but I don't own one at the moment - reminder to myself that I should get one! - like I need an excuse to go shopping, haha! :) .

That's about it for this outfit of the day! I hope you enjoyed this post!

My Top 3 Drugstore Concealers

Hi, everybody! Welcome back to another beauty post. I am going to share with you today my top 3 drugstore concealers, which was actually a requested topic from one of you. By the way, if you have any specific blog posts that you would like me to write, then let me know in the comments below. I picked three different types of concealers, that have slightly different effects, because I like having each one of these in my collection for different purposes.

I will start with my all time favourite so far, the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer. This is a very affordable one, which I actually need to repurchase, because it is almost running out. It has a really nice coverage, I would say, it lasts pretty well, especially if you set it with powder. I like using this under the eyes, I feel like it does a really good job at covering under-eye circles, it's a very lovely formula, and it's really easy to apply - since it comes with one of those lipgloss-like applicators.

Second place is held by the Avon Luxe Illuminating concealer. I have mentioned this on my blog several times in the past months, but I can't help it - it's so good. I looove applying this to highlight under the eyes, and I feel like if you're going for a really good contouring job (like a Kim Kardashian type of look), this is the perfect concealer to go for. It does last really well and it has a very lovely, luxurious looking packaging. I think they were going for something similar to the famous YSL highlighter. Now, since I haven't tried the YSL one, I can't really do a comparison, but I think you should definitely give the Avon one a go (plus it's much more afforable).

Thirdly, I really like the Essence Match 2 Cover concealer. This comes with two shades in the palette, which is perfect for mixing it up and adjusting the shade according to your own colouring. I really love this for covering spots, pimples, anything  like that. It's got a thicker, cream consistency, and it's got really good coverage. I use some powder on top to make it last really well. Also, part of the Essence products charm is the fact that they are insanely budget-friendly, so if you're looking for a really good and inexpensive concealer, this is the one to pick.

I hope you enjoyed this post! What is your favourite concealer?

Monochrome Aztec Outfit | What I Wore

Top: H&M  |  Skirt: New Yorker  |  Sandals: Deichmann  |  Bracelets: H&M  |  Bag: George at ASDA

Welcome to another What I Wore Wednesday! Hope your week is going well so far! I am actually a bit stressed out, because I've got an exam tomorrow, but hopefully it will go alright. This outfit is one that I wore this past weekend. I actually didn't do much this weekend except studying and watching the new series of Orange Is The New Black (woohoo - so excited that it finally came out!!!). Do you watch the series? I honestly don't know why I find it so interesting, but it's really addictive and I'm trying hard not to go through the entire season too quickly- haha!

Moving on to the actual outfit, I wore this on a little shopping spree. I got the aztec print skirt last year from New Yorker and I feel like it goes really well with  otherwise simple or plain items, so I decided to go for a monochrome look. I do feel like summer requires lots of colour in your wardrobe, but I also really like to go for monochrome from time to time.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

5 Products Everyone Needs to Try

Happy Monday, everyone! I am not particularly fond of Mondays, to be honest, but I think most people aren't. I am starting this week with a blog post that I've been meaning to write for quite a while now. I decided to share with you my top 5 products that I think you should definitely try if you are into beauty products. I picked only drugstore ones, because they are really affordable, but still give you unexpectedly good results. I am thinking I might do this type of post again in the future, just with different products, maybe go with a high-end version as well. Without any further rambling, here are the products that I think you should definitely try at least once.

The first product on my list is my favourite daily moisturizer, the Garnier Moisture Match, especially the one with the illuminating formula (it's in the yellow packaging). The reason I like this one is because I actually believe that, after using it for several months now, my skin has definitely become a bit more radiant than before, plus it is one of those products that goes really well under your foundation. It is the perfect base for your makeup, it does not become oily throughout the day, and it also has SPF. I use this daily in the mornings, after cleansing my face.

Moving on to the base of your makeup, the foundation. My favourite at the moment, and the one that I would highly recommend anyone to try is the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation. I feel like this is the perfect combination between giving you a dewy, luminous look, whilst still not getting too oily or too cakey. I actually find that it gives a pretty natural finish, but it's still a pretty good coverage. It comes with a pump, in a nice glass bottle, so I definitely feel like it's a really good product for the price you pay.

The third face product I'm going to mention is something I've discovered this past winter, and that is the Avon Luxe Concealer. This looks sooo lovely under the eyes. It brightens up the area really nicely, it doesn't crease in your fine lines, and I feel like the packaging looks very high-end and luxurious. I always appreciate things like that about products. I definitely think everyone should give this a go, at least once.

For the eyes, I picked my all time favourite mascara, the Maybelline The Falsies one. I would highly, highly recommend this one. It has a wand that really flares out your lashes, giving them volume, whilst also giving a bit more length to them. I think it really gives a bit of a falsies effect. It's also really inexpensive, you should definitely give it a go.

Finally, this product is a recent discovery of mine, and it's actually a product that I picked up on a whim, I haven't really seen any reviews of this beforehand. But, may I just say, I was really impressed. And I'm not even that much of a lipgloss person. It is the Essence Nude Lipgloss (in the shade Shy Beauty). This is sooo cheap, as most Essence products are, so I didn't really expect much from it, just to have something to throw on top of my lipsticks. However, the formula of this is actually amazing. It is not sticky AT ALL, it stays on pretty well, it blends really nicely on your lips. I just feel like it's one of the best lipglosses I have ever tried. Definitely pick it up if you find yourself at the Essence counter.

I hope some of you found this helpful! Let me know what products you think I should try!

Navy Patterns | What I Wore

Top: H&M  |  Shorts: H&M  |  Shoes: Deichmann  |  Bag: George at ASDA  |  Bracelets: H&M

Today's outfit is definitely one of my favourites for this summer, and I think it will be one I'll be wearing a lot this season, simply because it's really comfortable to wear, plus I think it looks very cute. I got this blouse from H&M a while back and I really love the pattern it has, it's quite bright and lovely with some navy shorts or pants. I went for the high wasted shorts that I also got from H&M. For shoes, these Deichmann sandals have quickly become my favourite to wear. They're the wedge-type heel, so it doesn't really feel like you're wearing a proper heel. I wore this outfit on park walks, shopping strolls with my mom and all sorts of occasions. It's a really easy to wear outfit, I would say!

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Essence Favourite Lip Combo

I have been meaning to write this blogpost for quite a while now, which encompasses my current favourite lip products and the combination I like to use. If you've been watching my past few YouTube videos, you probably already know what it is and how it looks like on. I actually only bought these products on a whim, not really knowing whether they were good or not, but they were all very affordable, being from Essence. I actually already had the lipstick from their range, just in a different shade, so I knew that it was gonna be a good formula. That's the first thing I picked up, and I decided to go for a nude shade, which are my favourite (it's called "Nude Love"). Then I also picked up a lip liner from their collection and I have to say that this is the product that impressed me the most. I honestly did not expect it to be this creamy and long lasting. I mean, for the price you pay, you get a pretty damn good quality. I am also loving the shade, which is "Satin Mauve", and it's a lovely plumy tone. Finally, I decided to also try one of their lipglosses, which is also really lovely, I like the finish that it gives and it's not at all sticky.

The way I like to use these together is this: I apply the lip liner all over the lips, then I put a little bit of lipstick in the center part of the lips to create a fuller lips effect, and finally I top it off with the lip gloss. I do love wearing the products on their own as well. I definitely need to go and get some more Essence products, since I'm very impressed with everything I got so far.

What is your favourite Essence product?

Greys & Blacks | What I Wore

Top: H&M  |  Shorts: H&M  |  Sandals: Deichmann  |  Watch: New Look  |  Sunglasses: H&M

Welcome back to another What I Wore Wednesday post! I want to start this post by saying I'm really sorry I couldn't get the post up last week, since I know a lot of you have probably waited for it. I have had an incredibly busy week and I didn't have the actual time to do it. However, I am back and I will do my best to stick to the schedule every single week. I even took time this weekend to take plenty of beauty product shots for future posts, so stay tuned for those if you're interested.

Moving on to the actual outfit, this past weekend my fiance and I decided to have a little date outside, have a pizza and take strolls in our nearby parks. It's always a nice change of pace. I wore a very simple outfit for this, featuring some shorts I got from H&M and a t-shirt from their basics collection. I added these cute wedge sandals that I also purchased not too long ago, which I am loving because they're extremely comfortable, PLUS they make me look a bit taller. I've been wearing them a lot lately and I feel like this is a pair that definitely needed to be in my shoe collection.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know what you've been up to lately!
