This blogpost is going to be the first of a 3-day outfit series, featuring a few clothing items that I was sent by the lovely people from George at ASDA. (This is not sponsored, I was just sent the items for review purposes). They were kind enough to let me choose a few dresses from their spring/summer collection, along with a few accessories, and create some outfits with them. I pretty much had a lot of freedom with choosing how to go about this, so I decided to make it a short series with a few different outfits I put together. I was really excited when they contacted me because I feel like their clothing line is really lovely and quite affordable. I have to say, though, it was a bit difficult trying to pick just a few items, because they have a lot of things I really loved. So here goes my first outfit, featuring a boho summer dress.
Dress: c/o George at ASDA | Cuff Bracelet: H&M | Clutch: local store
This maxi dress was one of the first ones that caught my attention and I really like the print on it. It's basically a black dress with a really bold and colorful floral pattern. I don't usually wear maxi dresses, I always found them a bit intimidating, but I decided to step out of my comfort zone a bit and get this one. I don't think you can really tell from the pictures, but the straps on the dress are like a plaid, so that's a really lovely detail. They also have the dress in black, and I was gonna get that one too, but they were out of stock on the website unfortunately. You might be able to get it in their stores though.
As for the items I paired it with, I went with a pair of nude high-heeled sandals (which you can't really see in the photos, because I forgot to take pictures of them), a simple nude coloured clutch, and my favourite bracelet at the moment, which is a cuff bracelet from H&M. I think this outfit is really good to wear to a bit more of a sophisticated event, whilst also being nice for a simple evening walk during summertime.
I hope you liked the outfit and stay tuned the next few days for the other ones coming up!
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog!
