Morning Skincare Routine

8:51 PM

I am happy to finally get around to posting this, since it's been on my blogging calendar for a while now. After seeing Kayla and Sandra do similar skincare posts, I was really excited to share my own too. I basically start my morning by washing any residue of skincare products from the night before with the Nivea Purifying Cleansing Gel. This leaves my skin squeeky clean and I find it to be really gentle as well, as not to irritate my sensitive skin. I follow with the Ivatherm Micellar Lotion, and I'm pretty sure you all know how big micellar water type of products are at the moment and I'm quite excited to try out more brands, but as of right now I'm using this one and loving it. This acts as both a toner and purifying product. Lastly, I prepare my skin for the day with the La Roche Posay's Effaclar Duo, which I recently saw that became extremely popular for some reason. I do think it deserves its popularity, as I've loved it for several months now, but only recently did it start popping on all blogs and beauty websites. The gel is perfect for fighting against pimples and I also like it as a sort of minimal moisturizer and preparing step for the foundation or concealer that follows.

That is pretty much what I will use in the morning - quick and fuss-free! How do you start your mornings?
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog!

  2. Thanks for sharing;) I always get new ideas or find new things to try because of posts like this. Recently my mourning skincare routine is quite simple, I've been using Garnier antiflaming face scrub and then a massive amount of moisturizer. ;)

  3. I've been meaning to try the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo for a while now. They recently came out with the + version though and I'm definitely interested in giving that one a go too! xx
