Green sandwiches | Healthy eating















Since this is my first food-related post of this year, I'm going to start with a fresh and healthy recipe that I found on Pinterest here. I modified it just a bit, adding some dried salami to it, because I really wanted to have some meat with it. Basically it contains: whole wheat bread, light cheese, baby spinach, avocado, dried salami. 

It is actually really good, in my opinion, plus you know you're eating something healthy, which is always a plus for me. No big philosophy about this, I actually wouldn't even call it a "recipe", because it is ready in no time. Definitely give it a go if you're looking for something quick and healthy to make.

  2. Nice quick and easy meal! And healthy too :) You should put some recipes of your smoothies you made (Saw them in your review of 2013 post) would love to get some ideas for the new year! :)

I really like avocados but tend to eat them alone or with something but not necessarily bread :) My husband also cuts the avocado in half (not removing the skin!!!), removes the seed, sprinkles with some cheese (like parmesan) and bakes - it's so yummy and you simply dig the avocado out of it's skin with a spoon. I also use hot sauce on top (like the one from Nandos). LOL - sorry for the recipe spam. :)
