Down Memory Lane

As some of you may already know, I usually spend my holidays with my family. I am away for most of the year, so whenever holiday season comes around I take a week or so to just go home and enjoy being with my wonderful parents and brother. I know holiday season has passed 2 weeks ago, but I only now got the chance to share with you these pictures I took. My parents are actually moving places, so I helped pack my own room (my old room, that is) and, boy - did I find a lot of goodies! I have always kept the things dearest to me, but I forgot I even had all these things. So I thought it would be a good idea to post them here, both to share with you some of my favourite things, but also to have them for me to look back on when I'm not home.

Lovely frames: I absolutely adore these pictures and they make my heart warm whenever I see them.
1st one - me and my brother (I was 6 and he was only 1..hehe);
2nd one - me and my boyfriend from about 4 years ago (I was 17).

You have to admit, I was really fashionable back then too..haha!

These Christmas cards are from when I first started learning English, in 2nd grade. So you can appreciate how fluent I was back then :P . I laughed so hard when I found these in the back of my drawers. Thankfully, I now have better English skills.

 I love this old Christmas mug. I only drank my coffee from this while I was at home.

I'm not sure if I mentioned this before, but I used to looove playing piano in my spare time. I never took any lessons, but I learned on my own a lot. I am actually thinking of bringing my keyboard where I live now, because I started playing a bit when I was at home and, to be honest, I don't know why I ever stopped. I find it so relaxing. Self-reminder: MUST bring keyboard soon!

And lastly (no - this is not something I found in the back of my drawers) I just thought I'd include a picture of Bobby, who is always over the moon when I go home.

Do you have any memories you like to hold on to? I feel like I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to this, but how can anyone throw away such treasures?! Hehe! :)

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog!
