I've been trying for more than a month now the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation, and I thought it was about time I would do a review on it and share with you my opinion. As you probably already know, I'm a big fan of Rimmel products. I think they're amazing quality, and price as well. So I really wanted to try their Match Perfection foundation, which I believe is the cheapest of their range of foundations, or I got it on sale, I'm not sure.
WHat this foundation claims to be is "untraceable under any light", which means it should blend perfectly into your skin. And it really does! I think it lives up to that claim and I think it matches my skin perfectly. I'm not sure if it was the luck of having got the perfect shade or the fact that adapts to your skin tone, but it matches perfectly! By the way, the shade is 200 Soft Beige.
The coverage is medium I would say, so if I have spots or extra redness, I usually go over with a concealer (another Rimmel one) and then everything's covered. It blends nicely onto your skin, as I said before, and I find that it's also buildable, even though I only like to wear one layer. No need to cake it up! Hehe! :P Also, it's perfect for my dry-combination skin, it doesn't make me oily at all and neither does it grab onto my dry skin.
Another thing I love about this is that it comes with a pump. That is one thing I adore about foundations, when they make your life easier and come with a simple "get out" system.
All in all, I think this is an amazing foundation and it is worth a try, if you're not looking for high coverage.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog!
