Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow | Review & Swatches

It was about time that I joined the bandwagon and tried out these eyeshadows, because they've been raved in the beauty world for ages. So you can imagine my excitement when they finaaally arrived in my country! I got them immediately, especially since they were having an incredible sale, almost 50% off (in the DM store, if you're interested). I've been wearing these pretty much everyday ever since I got them...can you say obsessed?! Haha! :) So I thought a review might be in order, so that if you are contemplating getting these, you can know what to expect. I also did some swatches, so you can get a grip of what the colours look like on. The two shades that I got here are: On and On Bronze (or Bad to the Bronze) & Pink Gold (or Inked in Pink).

I think that these eyeshadows are pretty amazing and they totally are worth their money. Although I woudn't say they're that expensive, I believe they're about 10$, depending on where you purchase them. But I think these eyeshadows are gonna last me a veeery long time, so I believe it's totally worth it! The two colours I got are really gorgeous, they blend out very nicely and once they set in, they really last on your lids forever. I tried wipping them off my hand after I did the swatches and I couldn't get it all out without some makeup remover. So that's a good sign, cause you don't want them to crease or disappear from your eyes. The pigmentation is great, and they're totally buildable. You can get a very soft look with them, or you can put on more for a deeper colour. Their consistency is creamy, so I apply them with my fingers, and if you apply an eyeshadow primer, you are set for the day, cause they won't crease on you.

Overall review
Price: Pretty decent for how long these will last you.
Colour & Pigment: Gorgeous colours with amazing pigmentation and they are totally buildable, so you can adjust the intesity.
Lasting power: They last on me all day with a primer and they don't crease.
Consistency: They're creamy, but once you apply them they set in and stay very well on.

Have you tried these eyeshadows? What did you think of them?

  2. I love those colors.. If they have something that's matte, I'd totally reconsider them again.

  3. Hey Madeline!

Do you blend the two together? That would look so nice!!

I love these products! I have On and On Bronze and Immortal Charcoal.

Next on my list is Pink Gold! So pretty but I never wear pink on my eyes so I've avoided it but I'm going to try it!
