Mini-Haul and Review | Rimmel & Avon

For some reason, in the past weeks I've been really into lipsticks. Which I usually am not!! Don't get me wrong, I loved lipsticks before too, but on a daily basis I would've rather worn a lip balm or simple lipgloss. But recently I've been wearing lipstick a lot more and I decided to add two more to my collection, in nude shades (of course!).
So I picked up two which I've been wanting for a long time: the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick, and the Avon Ultra Color Rich one. In addition, I also got a cleansing face brush from Avon.

Rimmel Lasting Finish (by Kate Moss) Lipstick- in shade 26

I honestly have nothing bad to say about this product. The color is amazing if you are like me and you love a nice nude lip, and it has more of a coral undertone, not a pinkish one. The consistency is really nice, I find it soft and creamy on my lips. As for how resistent it is on your lips, I would have to say it lasts pretty well. All in all, I'm definitely recommending this lipstick (plus it's only $7)...aaand the packaging is so cute!

Avon Ultra Color Rich Lipstick - in Pout

This lipstick is even more moisturizing than the Kate Moss one, I have to admit. It says that it's with jojoba oil, which is probably why... I'm loving how shiny and soft my lips feel after using this. I have to say that when I ordered it from the Avon catalogue the color in there was pretty different than the one that I got, but I'm super excited about this one as well. It's a nice pink color, but not overpowering....just a lovely nude! The price of this is around $5, depending on the current sales. Great price if you ask me!

Avon Spa Cleansing Face Brush

Now, I'm not too sure if that is the right name for this..thing, but I'm enjoying it thoroughly. It comes with two ends: one with a sponge, and one with a brush. I pretty much ignore the sponge part, because I think it's slightly gross to use it more than once, cause you know...bacteria will remain inside it - with the brush is different, cause it's way easier to clean. How I use it: I damp my face with water and apply any cleanser or face wash, then I take the brush and run it in circular motions all over my face. If you think about it, it's pretty much a Clarisonic kinda thing, except it's manual. I really like how it cleans my face and I would definitely recommend it!

Did you try any of these products or would you like to? Let me know!

  1. Even the lipsticks you chose are in the safe and nude shades. It shows that you are into the lip balm colors. Anyhow, you are pretty already even without the bursting colors of your lips. Love your choice of style. Always a fan and following you daily..
