ღ What to wear: Valentine's Day

Hi, ladies! So it's time for Valentine's Day, the lovers' day.. Whether you're a girlie girl or not, you most certainly want to celebrate the love you share with your other half. Which means: outfit hunting for the day! So I've put up 4 different outfits to give you some ideas on what you could wear and show you how you could style everything up. Your outfit definitely depends on whether you're going to a more elegant dinner or just having a casual day together. In either way, you want to look pretty for your date/evening together.

Outfit no.1: Pretty in Pink
The pink dress is so Carrie-like (if you've seen Sex and the City) and I think the black belt gives more shape to it and accentuates your waist, so you should only wear this type if your waist is a quality of your body, otherwise you could pick another style of the dress. Then, to complete the outfit, pick a pair of black pumps (which everyone should have in their closet) and a black blazer/jacket. A pale pink clutch and a similar-toned nail polish would go great with this combo. As for accessories, I would go for simplicity. Meaning that a pair of long earrings is all that you'll need, in my opinion.

 Outfit no.2: Nude combo
Pink is, certainly, not the only choice for this day, especially if you're not really into pink, like me (I mean, I like pale-pink, but I'm not a fan of the really bright one). An alternative is this combo of beige-light brown and white. The jeans will make it look more casual, but if you want something fancier, you could opt for a pair of black leather pants instead. Pearl earrings are a great pick for an elegant touch. And you could wear the cardigan tied with brown belt on top.

Outfit no.3: A touch of red
Your favorite pair of jeans and a white blouse are some basic items that you certainly already have in your closet. Then what you'll need on top to get this look is a beige blazer, a similar toned clutch and a pair of heeled ankle boots. I love the golden teardrop earrings for this look and I think the red scarf is exactly what this outfit needs for a bit of pop, to make it stand out and give it a more flirty feel.

Outfit no.4: Black Valentine
Leather pants give a really sexy feel to any outfit and the beige/golden silk blouse makes it look so classy and elegant. Then the black blazer and black ankle boots complete the outfit, while keeping it in the same color tone. Add a beige/golden clutch and you're good to go. A nice touch to this outfit would be some heart-shaped earrings.

What do you think of these outfits & Would you wear any of them?
How are you spending your Valentine's day this year and what will you be wearing for it?
