Review: Nivea Tinted Moisturizer

7:14 PM

If you follow me on Twitter you already know that I've been on a search for a good tinted moisturizer for some time. I kept asking people and I decided to give the Nivea one a try. I have to say it is a really good product, at least for my skin. Here are my impressions! (btw, click on the pictures for a larger view)

  1. Packaging
It comes in a really nice packaging. I really like it, it's easy to get product out of it and I haven't had problems with it breaking or anything like that. Also, it comes in a 50 ml tube.

  2. Color/pigment
I think this actually comes in just one color, called Natural, or at least I haven't found any other colors. It is pretty dark when you look at it in the bottle, but blended on your skin it evens out nicely and it doesn't make your face have a different color than your neck. I have a pretty pale skin (though I'm a bit tanned now) and it suits me really well. As for how pigmented it is, it definitely gives you a bit of a color and a light coverage. It's not much, cause it's a tinted moisturizer, not a foundation. But I think it's enough if you don't have too damaged skin.

  3. Texture
I have tried other face creams and lotions, but this is definitely my favorite one when it comes to texture. It doesn't make all of your pimples/spots stand out, it covers them nicely. I have sensitive and dry skin and I have a few spots that tend to get excessively dry, so I apply a bit of another simple moisturizer (a bit thicker than this one) on those spots and then I apply the Nivea one. It soaks in your skin pretty fast and it gives you a smooth feel.

  4. Scent
The smell is really nice, in my opinion, it's a scent specific to Nivea, which I like. It's not a strong smell (I don't like those) and it fades away after some time, which I don't mind

  5. Price
I bought it for $7 and as I already said, it is a 50ml package. I think it's a pretty good price, given the fact that it will probably last me a couple of months.

  6. Overall impressions
This is a good product, BUT you should know that it may not be right for you too if it was for me. It depends on each person's skin and complexion. You just have to give it a try to find out, but I would personally recommend it.

Hope this was helpful to you! Let me know if you've tried it and what's your opinion on this product!
